Writing Prompts: When Relationships Start Bad…

Sometimes a relationship doesn’t get off to a good start but ends up being the best thing that happened to each person in their life. You hear about this all the time. Someone does something extremely embarrassing but the other person gives them a chance anyway and they end up being married for 30 some odd years.

So today we are going to start a relationship off poorly and your job as the writer is to smooth things out so that they end well for both characters.

1. Write about someone overhearing a person they like saying something negative about them which was taken out of context.

2. Write about someone who accidentally offends someone else due to the inability to understand their accent.

3. Write about someone who is misled by another and ends up embarrassing themselves in front of someone they liked.

4. Write about someone who is having a bad day and is extremely rude to another person who ends up being their neighbor.

5. Write about someone, who sick from dinner, vomits on their date.
