Writing Prompts: Unusual Sources of Memories
This week we are exploring memories and flashbacks. Usually in writing, the memories or flashback belong to the character we are following at the moment. It is apart of their history.
With today’s writing prompts, your characters are going to explore memories and flashbacks that don’t belong to them but that they experience first hand as though they did.
1. Write a scene where a scientist is able to tap into the memories of an Elephant.
2. An object is found on Mars that tells about the history of the planet whenever someone touches. Write about one of those memories.
3. Write about a memory a psychometic psychic receives when she puts on a pair of second hand shoes for the first time.
