Writing Prompts: Unusual Relationships

It’s true what they say, love is blind. It fascinates me that we can feel this emotion we call love for a great many things; people, pets, food and even words. Right now my favorite word is “Seriously”. With it, I can convey a whole range of emotion from sympathy to disbelief in a way that just can’t be done with any other word.

Today we are going to look at the strange relationships we have with non-typical objects of desire (i.e. other people).

1. Write about a love of saving money.

2. Write about an obsession with a fictional television character.

3. Write about the love/hate relationship people have with food.

4. Write about the strange relationship we have with our fellow commuters to and fro work.

5. Write about the fascinating relationships that are built through the internet.
