Writing Prompts: Moving On

Today we are going to get supernatural with the graduation theme. Many believe that death is just a door we go through to transition back into our real lives as ethereal beings. I tend to believe this myself. There’s just so much we don’t know about life that I feel that we really can’t rule out this possibility.

Anyway, enough philosophicating . Today we are going to explore a few things that might happen when we graduate from this life to the next.

1. Write about someone who thinks this is their last life only to find out that they have to go to “Summer School”.

2. Write a “reality” show about 10 ghostly contestants vying for the chance to cross over.

3. Write about someone who crosses over and finds nothing but a barren wasteland.

4. Write about someone who dies who must make amends with the living before they will receive their diploma.

5. Write about someone who dies but instead of going where they are supposed to go, they end up switching bodies with someone from another planet by mistake.
