Writing Prompts: Set ‘Em Up in Style

I had a little bit of writer’s block this morning and couldn’t think of a topic for today’s set of creative writing prompts. I now have the contact form set up so if you would like to suggest a subject for the daily set of writing prompts or even contribute a few in exchange for a humble link back to your site, feel free to shoot me a message.

So far we’ve been focusing only on characters and plots. But where the story takes place is almost as important as those two elements. Sometimes the setting IS the character. Use today’s creative writing prompts to develop interesting places for your characters to hang around in.

1. A haunted cemetery on another planet.

2. A fast food restaurant.

3. The University of Paris in the 17th century.

4. Deep in the unconscious mind.

5. Indus Valley around 1800 BC.
